Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Together Green Care Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of its operations and supply chains. Although the organisation is not currently required to publish a statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to its turnover level, we recognise our responsibility to uphold the principles of the Act and promote ethical practice.

Our organisation provides supported living services within the United Kingdom and operates within regulated and publicly funded environments. We have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking.

To mitigate risks, we implement the following measures:

• Robust safer recruitment processes including identity verification, right to work checks, reference checks and enhanced DBS screening

• Written contracts of employment outlining fair pay, working hours and employee rights

• Safeguarding policies and procedures aligned to local authority expectations

• Staff training and awareness in safeguarding and whistleblowing

• Clear reporting mechanisms for concerns or suspected exploitation

We undertake due diligence when engaging suppliers and contractors, including verification of legitimacy, insurance and compliance with relevant legal standards. We expect all partners and suppliers to operate ethically and in accordance with UK employment law.

All staff are encouraged to raise concerns about unethical practice through established reporting procedures. Any concerns relating to exploitation, coercion or unsafe working practices would be investigated promptly and escalated to relevant authorities where appropriate.

Together Green Care Ltd remains committed to reviewing and strengthening its policies and procedures to ensure that modern slavery risks are identified and addressed appropriately as the organisation grows.

This statement has been approved by the Director of Together Green Care Ltd and will be reviewed annually.
