About the Role
Together Green Care is seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting adults with a range of needs to live independently, safely, and with dignity. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, or complex needs.
Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Promote independence, choice, and dignity at all times.
Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social activities.
Maintain accurate records, care notes, and incident reports.
Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment.
Uphold the values, policies, and quality standards of Together Green Care.
Person Specification
Essential:
A genuine passion for supporting adults in care settings.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and respectful approach.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a care or support role.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
Full UK driving licence.
