About the Role


Together Green Care is seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting adults with a range of needs to live independently, safely, and with dignity. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

 

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, or complex needs.

  • Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, medication, meal preparation, and household tasks.

  • Promote independence, choice, and dignity at all times.

  • Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments, and participate in social activities.

  • Maintain accurate records, care notes, and incident reports.

  • Follow care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment.

  • Uphold the values, policies, and quality standards of Together Green Care.


Person Specification


Essential:

  • A genuine passion for supporting adults in care settings.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A caring, patient, and respectful approach.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

  • Right to work in the UK.


Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role.

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).

  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.

  • Full UK driving licence.
